This White Rabbit painting is based on a drawing by the very talented Michael Kutsche.  White Rabbit made his debut in 1865. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson’s introduced this curious character in his novel Alice in Wonderland appearing in chapter 1 mumbling “I’m late, I’m late,  For a very important date.  No time to say “Hello, Goodbye”.  I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”
